We were back at it again last weekend and now I have to carry 30+ pounds with me? We hiked to Alice Lake in the Sawtooth National Recreational Area. The hike is about 6 miles up with a number of stream crossings. There were rocks and logs to cross so not too hard. We camped overnight at the top and then went down in the morning.

There is a nasty section of switchbacks in this rocky area. The trail is on the left.

Another great hike. This one is rather crowded at least on a Saturday in the Summer so get there early for the best parking spot at the trailhead and a campsite on the water.
